Lieschen was already living on Stoppels Offener Lebenshof, one of our vegan animal sanctuaries, before it was even an animal sanctuary. She was born on May 6th 2005. Marion, who owns the animal sanctuary Stoppels Offener Lebenshof, rescued her. She was already on the way to being slaughtered, when Marion came to her rescue and saved her. At the time, she was pregnant with her daughter Lola.

Lola was born on June 25th 2012. Lola and Lieschen have never been seperated, and have spent their whole lives together at the animal sanctuary.  Lieschen’s utter was so heavy that at first, Lola was unable to drink on her own. She had to be fed with a bottle during the first days, but then she grew strong enough to drink on her own. Lola has now become our little bear, because she loves visitors and cuddles so much.
